IMFACT hasn't disbanded after all.
Despite earlier claims that the group had disbanded, IMFACT's leader Jian took to their official Fancafe to reassure the fans that despite parting ways with Star Empire Entertainment, the members would not be parting ways with each other.
After apologizing for the heavy news that came as a shock to the group's fandom, Jian explained that his contract with the group's former company has come to an end and that he would not be renewing with them after this, but that this wasn't the end for the group.
All of the members, sans Taeho, who is currently serving in the military along with Jian and Jeup, have released similar statements expressing their gratitude towards fans and the company who took care of them since their trainee days. Star Empire Entertainment has also confirmed that all five would be leaving the company.
Jian also expressed that, despite it being difficult for the members to promote as a group for the time being due to the overlapping military service of three out of five of them, all of the members still want to continue together in the future.
He also expressly used the words, "This is not a disbandment," solidifying his message further.
Jian concluded his message by saying that after his military service ends, he will work hard to see IF again in the future and that he wishes for the fans to be healthy and happy and hopes for a day that everybody, the fans, and members alike, will be all happy again together in a good environment.
IMFACT debuted on January 27th, 2016, with the single 'Lollipop,' which was written, composed, and produced by the group's maknae, Ungjae.
YAYYYYYYY so happy that it isn't a real disbandment. Hopefully after theyve all served they can come back together and continue again. It seems to be becoming a trend these days for groups to collectively leave their companys but continue together as a group. Whatever makes them happy <3
