On January 6 KST, Oricon confirmed that BTS's second Japanese-language compilation album, 'BTS, The Best', has officially surpassed over 1 million copies on the Oricon Japan chart.
'BTS, The Best' has now become the first album by a Korean act to surpass this milestone on Oricon in nearly 17 years, after Korean pop singer BoA's 'Best of Soul' in 2005. It is also the first time in over 17 years that a single album by a foreign male artist sold over 1 million copies on the chart since the band Queen in 2004. BTS now join Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi, Scatman John, The Beatles, and Queen as the only foreign male artists, and the 14th foreign artists overall, to achieve this milestone.
Congratulations, BTS!
Congrats BTS You're the BEST🥰 🎶💜🎼
