Girl's Day's Hyeri will be taking legal action against her malicious commenters.
On December 17, Hyeri's agency Creative group ING released an official statement revealing their plans to take legal action against Hyeri's malicious commenters:
"Hello. This is Creative group ING.
Recently on the online community and social media platforms, there have been continuous malicious slander, personal attacks, sexual harrassment, and defamation against our artist Hyeri, and we will be taking legal action.
While we initially dismissed them as 'freedom of expression' despite continuous monitoring and reports, we concluded that that the actions of certain individuals were at a level that was no longer tolerable.
In response, we plan to proceed by taking legal action through persistent monitoring and reports, and we will be taking strong action without showing any leniency.
