HYPEBEAST released its annual list of most influential people of the year 2021, the end of the year list highlighting the best talents who’ve made remarkable contributions to the world of fashion and street culture.

The team at HYPEBEAST, through this year’s HB100 list, want to acknowledge the leaders in fashion, footwear, music, and art, not just for their superb talents at creating products, but also for their ability to positively connect cultures. Some are disruptors, pushing for social and environmental changes, while others are innovators working with new technologies to create the next “big thing.” We salute them for their efforts and congratulate them on a monumental year.

The only Korean Musician on the list is with no doubt G-Dragon, due to his brand PEACEMINUSONE that grown rapidly in popularity, as they sited it as streetwear mainstay, with G-Dragon collaborations with Nike kept going for 3rd year in a row, releasing in 2021 his latest work of shoes "Kwondo1" that sold-out within minutes after release worldwide. 

G-Dragon was only one of 12 musicians that made it to the list, alongside Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Drake, Billie Eilish, and Kanye West.

G-Dragon's 'Kwondo1' was also nominated for the best sneaker of 2021, but lost to Virgil Abloh’s last projects before passing away in 2021.
