Boy group BTS has been nominated for the BRIT Awards 2022, the most prestigious music awards in the UK, yet again!
The BRIT Awards announced its nominees on its official website and SNS on December 19, among which, BTS was nominated for the "International Group of the Year" category.
This is the second time that BTS has been nominated for the prestigious music award. At the Brit Awards 2021, BTS were the first Korean singers to be nominated for the "International Group" category.
In addition to BTS, prominent global musicians such as ABBA, Maneskin, Silk Sonic, and The War on Drugs were also nominated for the same category.
The BRIT Awards is an award ceremony organized by the British Record Industry Association, and candidates are selected by a panel of more than 1,200 radio, TV DJ and host, broadcaster executives, record producer representatives, and journalists.
The BRIT Awards 2022 will be held on February 8 next year at O2 Arena in London, England.
