BTS's V is known to be one of the most in-demand actors; despite him focusing on his music career and the group activities, it didn't stop producers from expressing their desire to cast him and work with him.

Eom hong-Hyeon, the CEO and chief of EMK and one of the top musical producers, expressed his desire to work with V in a musical.

“Before the pandemic, I only dreamed of casting well-established Western actors in any Korean musical that could make it to Broadway or the West End. But now I hope to cast BTS’ V, whom I’ve heard has a keen interest in musicals. If we’re able to make this a reality, it would attract global audiences to Korean musicals,” he said.

Many critics and artists praised Taehyung's baritone voice and how much it suits musicals. Grammy award winner Sumi Jo once did an analysis of Taehyung singing a musical; noted how he has a perfect pitch and how his skills are perfect for musicals expressing her want to make a duet with him.

Taehyung showed his interest in musicals so many times and showcased his skills too that left fans and producers wanting to watch the artist in one.
