Oh Ji Ho's fans stepped forward in defense of the actor after he was accused of forcing actress Heo Yi Jae to have intercourse.

On September 10th, former Crayon Pop member Way uploaded a video with the title "The reality of Korean actress listening from an actress (slapping, shameless actor...)" on her YouTube channel WayLand.

In the video that was uploaded, actress Heo Yi Jae appeared on the screen for the first time in a while. Heo Yi Jae had suddenly stopped her activities back in 2016 and claimed that an actor had abused his powers against her. She explained, "I retired from the entertainment industry because of this married actor."

Shortly after the video was revealed, netizens began searching who the married actor was based on her filmography. As Oh Ji Ho was accused as one of the alleged perpetrators, his fans stepped forward in defense of the actor claiming they will take legal action on his behalf.

On September 11th, the fans wrote on the DC Inside's Male Celebrity Gallery "As there are many baseless rumors regarding Oh Ji Ho circulating online, we come forward to issue an official statement. Since his debut in 1998, Oh Ji Ho has been a good role model as he continued to donate and host charitable events."

They continued, "The fans cannot let the serious crime of inflicting pain on the actor through groundless claims and rumors that could harm one's reputation happen online. Not only posting rumors online is a crime but also spreading groundless posts is a punishable act under criminal law."

They wrapped up their statement saying they will take legal action if this witch hunt continues and asked people to take defamatory posts down.

You cannot take legal action on behalf of other people. Unless you're their family...
