NCT's Doyoung will be participating in the original soundtrack for 'Yumi's Cells'.
On September 30 KST, Stone Music Entertainment stated, "Doyoung has been confirmed as the next artist to sing the OST Part. 4 for 'Yumi's Cells'. The original soundtrack sung by Doyoung, 'Like A Star', will be released through various music platforms on October 1 at 6PM KST." The original soundtrack "Like A Star" was first heard in episode 2 of 'Yumi's Cells', in the scene where Yumi (played by Kim Go Eun) and Gu Woong (played by Ahn Bo Hyun) met for the first time.
"Like A Star" is a pop ballad track that will likely be a signature background music for Yumi and Gu Woong's decisive moments. With its use of guitar instrumentals and emotional melody, NCT member Doyoung will lend his detailed and comforting voice to complete the calming atmosphere of the drama.
Meanwhile, TVING original drama series 'Yumi's Cells' airs every Friday and Saturday at 10:50PM KST.
