BLACKPINK's Lisa revealed that she was able to prepare well for her solo album thanks to the support of BLINKs and her fellow members.

On September 10 KST, Lisa attended an online press conference for her upcoming solo single album 'LALISA'. Lisa's title track, also called "LALISA", brings together the powerful sounds of hip hop, charismatic rap, and a high quality performance, bringing to life Lisa's musical identity. Lisa, who is the third BLACKPINK member to make her solo debut, revealed that her activities with the BLACKPINK members were nourishing to her experiences. 

She said, "As we challenged ourselves with various music genres and collaborated with different artists, I learned what I am good at. I think my album was created from those moments. The most important are the BLINKs, who have been with us for five years. I gained a lot of strength thanks to to their support." The BLACKPINK members also proved to be a strong support system for Lisa. Lisa stated, "Jennie and Rosé both showed amazing performances, so I worked hard as well. All my members came to my music video filming set. They all stayed with me until dawn. I felt so reassured. All of this is for our BLINKs."

Meanwhile, Lisa's first solo single album 'LALISA' will be released on September 10 at 1PM KST.
