SM Classics to release orchestra version of NCT U's 'Make A Wish (Birthday Song)'

On August 12th at 6PM KST, SM Classics will release "Make A Wish (Orchestra Ver.)" through various online music sites.

NCT U's "Make A Wish (Birthday Song)" utilizes a hip-hop beat, and is a pop dance genre with a charming whistling riff. With its initial release in 2020, the track swept the music charts and received love from global fans. With an orchestra version rearranged by SM Classic's composer Kang Han Mwe, the whistling riff sounds will be enriched as if a mirage is visible under the intense sun, amidst a desolate desert. 'SM Classics TOWN Orchestra', with its 50-member orchestra, will bring forth majestic and suspenseful sounds that perfectly harmonize with one another. In addition, the music video for the orchestral release will vividly depict the 'SM Classics TOWN Orchestra' performing 'Make A Wish (Orchestra Ver.)' at the Seoul Arts Center concert hall, under the direction of maestro Kim Seong Jin.

Meanwhile, SM Classics, a classical music label under SM Entertainment, plans to continue to showcase various K-pop music contents that have been rearranged into a classical genre.
