MONSTA X's Hyungwon and Lee Seung Heon test negative after confirmed COVID-19 case discovered on 'Fly Again' set

MONSTA X's Hyungwon and actor Lee Seung Heon have tested negative for COVID-19 after a confirmed case was discovered on the set of 'Fly Again,' the web drama the two are currently filming.

On August 1 KST, King Kong by Starship released a statement announcing that MONSTA X's Hyungwon and Lee Seung Heon were tested for COVID-19 after being classified as 'close contacts' with a current COVID-19 patient who is involved in the production.

While both Hyungwon and Lee Seung Heon tested negative, they have entered self-isolation. 'Fly Again' filming was also halted to allow all involved actors and staff who were in contact with the patient to undergo COVID-19 tests.

Meanwhile, 'Fly Again' is a musical drama that follows the stories of students at a performing arts high school as they chase their dreams. Kim Myeong Ji, Park Eun Hye, and Tony Ahn are also in the cast.
