On July 29, it was reported that Mina was transported to the hospital after attempting to take her own life. She was taken to the hospital after being found excessively bleeding. 

The media report stated that Mina was found in her home on the morning of July 29 by an acquaintance, who decided to pay Mina a visit after Mina did not answer the phone. Mina was bleeding excessively when she was found and underwent emergy surgery to suture her wound. She has still not recovered her consciousness yet.

After hearing the news, many netizens raised their voice in concern and hope that Mina would be able to get professional help and treatment. Netizens gathered to an online community and commented, "I had a bad feeling when she said she wanted to end everything and will get off social media...I hope she gets treatment," "She really needs professional help and needs to stop looking at those malicious comments," "She needs help," "She needs to be admitted to the hospital so at least she can be stopped when she tries to harm herself," "Please receive treatment and get some professional help," "I hope she really quits social media and just concentrates on getting treatment after she gets better," "I think she needs to be admitted to the hospital for some serious treatment," "Being on social media is so unhealthy for her," and "Social media is so harmful to her."
