A non-celebrity version of MBC's 'King of Masked Singer' will be coming soon.
On July 12th, a representative of MBC stated, "We have joined hands with the famous French TV producer Herve Hubert to produce 'The Masked Talent', a non-celebrity spinoff to our popular variety show 'King of Masked Singer'."
MBC's variety show 'King of Masked Singer' has been attracting global attention, exporting its format to about fifty different countries. Thanks to their global popularity, MBC and Herve Hubert found the opportunity to develop 'The Masked Talent'. Unlike 'King of Masked Singer', where various celebrities appear, 'The Masked Talent' will feature non-celebrities to showcase their hidden talents.
'The Masked Talent' will open their applications from July 11 to August 13 in order to discover hidden talents from all over the country. Anyone who is talented can apply, without restrictions on age, music genre, or nationality. More detailed information can be found on MBC's official homepage, and applications can be sent through email.
'The Masked Talent' is scheduled to air during the Chuseok holiday, in September.
Uh...whats the point of masking these people up when nobody knows who they are to begin with?
