Kang Hye Won, former member of the group IZ*ONE, warned malicious commenters by announcing her plans to take legal action.
On July 14th, 8D Entertainment, Kang Hye Won's agency, issued an official statement regarding the issue.

This is 8D Entertainment. We would like to express our gratitude towards fans who always support and love Kang Hye Won.
We strongly warn forum users and commenters who have written or distributed malicious comments and posts containing defamation, insults, sexual harassment, false information, malicious slander, etc. against Kang Hye Won through various online community bulletin boards, social media pages, direct messages, and more.
Through monitored collection, we are preparing to take legal action because we can no longer stand by and watch a situation where socially unacceptable malicious comments and false information beyond simple opinions are being spread around.
We will work hard to protect our artist by proceeding with strong legal punishments.
