Jung So Min is in talks to star in 'Resurrection' after rookie actress Park Hye Eun withdrew from the drama.

Park Hye Eun was allegedly dropped from the series due to "poor acting," but tvN later stated she felt immense pressure as lead and decided to withdraw from the cast. It was then reported Jung So Min would be taking over the lead role, but her label Blossom Entertainment clarified, "It's true she was offered a role in 'Resurrection', but nothing has been confirmed."

'Resurrection' is written by hit screenwriting duo Hong Sisters, who are behind popular dramas like 'My Girl', 'You're Beautiful', 'My Girlfriend is a Gumiho', 'The Greatest Love', 'Master's Sun', and 'Hotel Del Luna', and Lee Jae Wook, NU'EST's Minhyun, Oh My Girl's Arin, Oh Na Ra, and Joo Sang Wook have been confirmed to be starring in the series.
