BTS has done it again as they further solidify their position as the global K-pop group.
On June 21, Billboard released the results of the HOT100 chart in which BTS took the number 1 spot once more. With this, BTS breaks another record as they take the top spot in the Billboard charts for the fourth consecutive week.
BTS's "Butter" is now the first song from a K-pop artist to be at number 1 for four consecutive weeks and is now the longest-running song at number 1. The song was released on May 21 and debuted at number 1 soon after.
According to Billboard, BTS's "Butter" is only the 13th song to be at the top of the charts for four consecutive weeks among the songs that debuted at number 1 in history. In addition, BTS topped other Billboard charts such as the Global 200 chart and The Global (excluding the U.S.) Top charts.
