BTS's Jimin immediately impacts sales of French premium soda brand "Lorina" post-release of his "Butter" Concept Clip
On May 6, BTS released the last set of "Butter" Concept Clips from members Jimin, J-hope, and V on popular platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Weverse.Fans have been trying to guess which frame belongs to the main dancer and lead singer of BTS up until the last minute, but in the end it was revealed through the concept clip reel that his is associated with the red drink being poured into a glass.
The 19-second clip features Jimin dancing to the background music and holding a bottle full of red drink. The camera then focuses on his foot and hand movements until it goes back to Jimin as he holds the bottle, takes a sip, and shakes the bottle. He continues to dance effortlessly with the video zooming into his face to capture his perfect visuals then exits.
Initially, fans imagined the drink to be red wine, as seen on the concept teaser photo, but it is actually a kind of French soda under the brand "Lorina," which specializes in premium natural soda. Fans identified it as Lorina sparkling soda in blueberry lemonade, a naturally flavored sparkling soda that is an exotic mix of pomegranate and blueberry. The drink is free from any artificial colors or flavors, preservatives and caffeine which is a naturally healthy choice for a health buff like Jimin.
Right after Jimin's Butter Concept Clip dropped, fans notice that all the red sodas are sold out in some online retailers like Walmart and Sodapopstop while searching to buy the same soda from the French brand.
This shows Jimin's brand power with just a 19-second clip. Not surprising at all as he has sold many items in the past, from a lip balm that costs USD 5.42from the Japanese brand Rotho to Louis Vuitton's collection of luxury items such as the Louis Vuitton's black "Inside Out Crewneck Sweatshirt" which costs USD 1368 (approximately 1,540,000 Korean won) and the Louis Vuitton's " 'Friends' pendant necklace" which costs USD 810 (approximately 1,090,000 Korean won) which were sold out within 24 hours in Louis Vuitton’s South Korea’s website.
His brand power is consistent and has been proven time and time again regardless of the price tag.
From $2 items to costly $1000+ products, he is just a strong force to be reckoned with as an ultimate influencer and brand king.
