Actress Kim Go Eun made a generous donation to celebrate Children's Day.

After BTS' j-hope and Suzy's donation hit headlines, Kim Go Eun is also drawing attention for her good deed. As May 5 marks Children's Day in South Korea, Kim Go Eun donated 50 million Won ($44,462.26 USD) to the Seoul National University Children's Hospital in order to aid children and young people from low-income households. The donation will help them cover the costs of treatment they can't otherwise afford.

Kim Go Eun commented, "I wish these children are able to go to school and meet their friends as soon as possible. I hope my small donation will be of some help, and I want to continue to give material and emotional support to them."

In other news, Kim Go Eun is starring in the upcoming drama 'Yumi's Cells', which is expected to premiere in the second half of 2021.
