A recent survey revealed the most popular luxury brands in Korea.
According to Gallup Korea's poll held in March 2021, the top 10 most popular luxury brands in Korea are Gucci (24%), Chanel (15%), Louis Vuitton (8%), Prada (3%), Hermès (3%), Burberry (2%), Yves Saint Laurant (2%), Dior(2%), Nike (1.5%), and Armani(1.3%).
The top 5 most popular luxury brands among females are Chanel (23%), Gucci (20%), Louis Vuitton (10%), Dior (4%), and Yves Saint Laurant (3%). Among the males, Gucci topped the chart with 27%, followed by Chanel (10%), Louis Vuitton (7%), Prada (4%), and Hermès (3%). The poll surveyed 1,204 employed 25 to 54 years old Korean people.
After the results were out, netizens shared their thoughts about the survey results. The top three comments are: "Gucci released EXO's Kai collection in March and I think it did have a positive influence on the poll"

"Chanel doesn't even carry men's clothes and it's still ranked at the second place. And G-Dragon is the only 2nd generation idol among the global ambassadors."
