Seventeen's third Japanese single "Not Alone" is gaining a hot response in Japan!
Back on April 21, Seventeen released their third Japanese single, "Not Alone". The single then ranked first on Oricon's Weekly Singles Ranking for the week of May 3, and surpassed a total of 314,765 copies in sales during it's first week - solidifying the position of "global top tier".
Last year, Seventeen second Japanese single "Fallin Flower" also topped Oricon's Weekly Singles Rankings and exceeded 300,000 copies in its first week. In particular, "Not Alone" has now become Seventeen's third consecutive single to exceeded 200,000 copies for the first week of sales, setting a new record for the group as the first overseas male artist to achieve this feat.
In response, Seventeen's Leader S.Coups expresses his gratitude to the fans and said, "I sincerely thanksCarats and all those who supported us. Every moment with Carats is Seventeen's precious youth. Above all I am proud and happy to be able to decorate one page of that youth with a record like this. I hope we can continue to spend that youth together".
On the other hand, Seventeen will hold a special talk show commemorating the release of their Japanese third single today (27th) and a special online fan meeting in Japan, "SEVENTEEN 2021 JAPAN SPECIAL FANMEETING HARE".
