
SBS's new current affairs variety show revealed a police officer was demoted after raising questions about the initial 'Burning Sun' investigation.
According to the first regular episode of SBS's new current affairs variety show on April 28th, a police officer who raised questions about the initial investigation of 'Burning Sun' case was demoted to handling civil complaints.
Police officer A said "Back then I found things just don't add up so I raised questions regarding the initial investigation. But I was soon demoted to handling civil complaints from the investigation unit. I wanted to be reinstated but it wasn't granted."
It was reported he filed a formal complaint against the chief investigation officer's abuse of power but there was no follow-up action.
