Girl's Day's Minah and Kwon Hwa Woon have been confirmed as the leads of the upcoming drama 'Please Check the Event'.
'Please Check the Event' will follows an ex-couple who decide to fake a relationship to win a couples trip. Minah will be playing the role of bold and energetic character Ha Song Yi, who becomes a coordinator at a botanical garden. She loves plants because they never betray you as her mother said, and she's always honest with her feelings. However, her life begins to unfold when she and her boyfriend break up.
Kwon Hwa Woon will be taking on the role of indie band vocalist and Ha Song Yi's ex-boyfriend Park Do Kyum, who's not what he seems. Though he's full of pride and easily annoyed, he's romantic when it counts.
MBC's 'Please Check the Event' is scheduled to premiere in July or August.
