EXO’s Xiumin is in talks to star in the musical 'Hadestown'.

According to media outlets on April 22, Xiumin has been offered a role in the upcoming musical 'Hadestown', which is premiering this August. The musical is a reinterpretation of the ancient Greek myth about Orpheus, who goes to the underworld to rescue his fiancee Eurydice, and it's an adaptation of singer-songwriter Anais Mitchell's concept album 'Hadestown'.

The 'Hadestown' musical is set during the Great Depression, and since its American premiere in March of 2019, it's won 8 Tony Awards. If cast, Xiumin will play the role of Orpheus. He previously starred as the lead in the army musical 'Return'.

In other news, Xiumin has been confirmed as part of the panel of the new Channel S show 'Night with Shin'.
