“How can you not love #Jimin?” is what 14 USA radio stations synchronously asked.
On April 2, the fans of BTS’s main dancer and lead vocalist Park Jimin were surprised and confused after 14 radio stations from the USA posted in sync using same caption and same gif featuring Jimin on their respective official Twitter accounts.
The tweets are captioned as “I’m sorry. HOW can you not love #jimin?! #BTS_twt #BTSARMY”
The fans were initially confused as to what was going on and why the radio stations have been tweeting the same post for Jimin. Eventually, they could not agree more with the stations and expressed their affirmation and approval of the special affection shown by the radio stations for Jimin.
This exemplifies Jimin’s unrivaled impact and popularity especially in the USA, deserving of his modifiers as “U.S. Media Darling” and “K-Pop Frontman”.
Last August 2020, another US Radio Station, 102.7 KIIS FM, when publicly asked who their bias (favorite member) in BTS is, confessed that it is Jimin. 102.7 KIIS FM posted on its official Twitter and Tiktok account a video clip from the iHeartRadio event in Los Angeles, USA and captioned it as “Cannot believe we were this close to #Jimin and #JHope”.
Last October 13, 2020 on Jimin’s birthday more than 30 major radio broadcasters from the United States and all over the world posted their congratulatory message for Jimin including iHeart Radio, KISSFM, Wild 94.9, 106.1 KISSFM, 104.2 Nile FM. B1039 Florida, La Mwga Colombia, Radio.com, Wild 95.5. 103.5 KISS FM, B96 Chicago, 92.1 The Beat, Hit FM Espana. Jimin also received much love and support from official accounts of radio stations from Europe, South America, Africa and Asia.
Jimin’s solo songs are also consistently played on various radio channels in several countries around the world. His solo song “Filter” was broadcasted in UK’s DFM Radio and by Turkey’s Radio Billkent. Portugal’s Radio Radical has played his solo songs “Filter”, “Lie” and “Promise” while Uruguayan radio station Gente Radio FM played “Lie” and “Filter”.
Everyone whipped for Jimin, as they should
