K & EJ are former I-Land trainees, and they are also members of the new HYBE LABELS Japanese boy group set to debut this year. They made their cameo appearance on Enhypen’s “Drunk-Dazed” music video today on Monday the 26th of April.
This caused quite a stir among Keiys (fandom of K) and Ujus (fandom of EJ) on social media platforms, such as Twitter and Instagram. Highlighting the craze of K-Pop, especially when fandoms await their idols yet to debut.
And for Keiys particularly, it has been a waiting period since December 31st, 2020. This was the date that K, along with other former I-Land trainees, EJ, Taki, Kyungmin, and Nicholas, made the following announcement. That HYBE LABELS JAPAN would launch a Global Debut Project to produce artists who will start in Japan and go on to perform on the world stage. More members were still yet to be selected, so auditions would be held from earlier this year until June.

With that in mind, just as we see music as a universal language, a music video can reach even more people as it touches not just our hearing pleasure but also can be visually appealing. So it’s no surprise really to see the former I-Land duo K & EJ receive a cameo appearance in this music video that seems to lend itself to telling more than one story. Or am I wrong? Speaking from my own experience as a Keiy, I’m interested in seeing what will come next!
I loved the cameo !!!! We are eagerly awaiting you!!!!
