Jiyeon talked about T-ara's strict 'no cellphone' policy involving a female manager frisking the members.
On March 23rd's episode of tvN's 'On/Off', Jiyeon made a guest appearance to share her lifestyle with viewers. T-ara members visited Jiyeon in this episode and the girls started a conversation about their lifestyle as an idol group when they weren't allowed to use cellphones. Jiyeon surprised the panels by saying she was caught hiding her phone in her undergarment, as female managers were allowed to frisk members. Jessi shook her head saying if they were imprisoned.
Nevertheless, Jiyeon showed her deep affection for the group saying, "I shared the half of my life with my members. I met unnies when I was 15 and I'll be turning 30 next year." Hyomin and Eunjeong shared their support for Jiyeon saying "We relied on each other. I hope Jiyeon is happy regardless of what she does."
An observation reality series, tvN's 'On/Off' gives viewers a chance to get to know the personal sides of stars who don't normally appear on TV variety programs. The show airs every Tuesday night at 10:30 PM KST.
The part where T-ara talks about their no phone policy starts at the 11:35 mark.
This is wrong on so many levels. I still don't understand why idols and trainees get their phones taken away.
