On December 29, the 19th episode of SBS's ongoing drama series 'Penthouse' threw viewers into major chaos after a DNA test file involving the female character Oh Yoon Hee (played by S.E.S's Eugene) read that her sex chromosome was "XY". 

Many keen-eyed fans then began raising questions about whether or not the character Oh Yoon Hee was actually transgender, potentially wondering if this was another shocking development of the dramatic mystery behind 'Penthouse'. 

Some viewers also pointed out that in the official poster for 'Penthouse', Eugene's character Oh Yoon Hee was the only "woman" standing up alongside the other male characters. 

However, a representative of SBS has since stepped up to clarify the rumors and suspicions surrounding Oh Yoon Hee's identity. SBS stated, "It was an honest prop error. We will edit the footage accordingly for future VOD services as to ensure that we do not cause viewers further misunderstanding or discomfort."
