BTS’s “Donation Fairy” Jimin has added yet another meaningful donation under his name as his fans celebrated his 9200^th day.

On December 19, the fans celebrated BTS Jimin 9200^th day from his birth. The fans took it to SNS to post their messages of love and support. More importantly, the fans teamed up to vote for Jimin on the idol ranking app “Choeaedol” and eventually made Jimin a “Charity Fairy” once again.

Jimin received more than the required 55,555,555 votes to become the 99^th Charity Fairy on his 9200^th day. Jimin received a total of 62,335,574 and ranked 14^th in the highest votes in Choeaedol. According to Choeaedol, the title of Charity Fairy is given to the idol who received the aforementioned required daily votes in the app during idol anniversaries of their birthday or debut. To honor the Chaity Fairies, Choeaedol donates 500,000 Korean Won or US$453 in the name of the Charity Fairies.

In Charity Fairy Jimin’s case, 500,000 KRW will be donated to Miral Welfare Foundation. The foundation is known for its commitment to support persons with disabilities especially children.

Further, it is Jimin’s 5^th time becoming a Charity Fairy. He also had been previously named “Charity Angel” for 3 times or a total of 8 donations have been made under his name which amounts to total of 4 million Korean won (US$3,624). Jimin ranked 8^th among individual idols with most number of donations in the history of the Choeaedol app and the highest among the BTS’s members.

Korean news media outlets have written at least 6 articles about Jimin being the 99^th donation fairy during his 9200 days.

It was earlier reported that a “BTS Jimin Scholarship” will be established in 2021 and will support outstanding students of arts from the donation earlier made by Jimin to the Jeonnam Future Education Foundation.
