BTS fans got too excited at the thought of a possible King of Kpop BTS Jimin and Grammy-nominated Khalid collaboration.

The recent hype was brought by a tweet from Argentine radio station Radio One FM 103.7 on its official Twitter on November 7 which said, “@thegreatkhalid (Khalid) said he’s a fan of Jimin of BTS, Would you like a collaboration between them? #Khalid it is #ArtistaOne."

The post tickled the fans and so they excitedly replied in the affirmative. The fans strongly believe that Jimin and Khalid voices would complement each other and their future song would surely be a worldwide hit.

It is known that Khalid has been showing his affection for BTS Jimin for years already. Likewise, Jimin and the rest of the BTS does the same thing for Khalid. The “Lovely” singer began publicly expressing his fondness for Jimin when he posted on his Twitter to praise Jimin’s solo song and certified hit “Serendipity” in August 2018.

Jimin saw the tweet. He politely and humbly responded to it. Also, later that day, BTS went on a live broadcast and Jimin said that Serendipity had been receiving great responses from people around the world and mentioned Khalid and his tweets while sporting such a big smile on his face.

Jimin and Khalid met again in person during the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. They were spotted casually greeting each other, exchanging hugs, and briefly chatting before the show started.

On May 5, 2019, Khalid attended a BTS Show at Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles, California. He then posted on his Instagram Stories being hyped up while Jimin was performing Serendipity.

Khalid even went backstage and posed for a photo with BTS which he posted the following day on his official Twitter. BTS, in return, posted a similar photo on their official Twitter and called Khalid their friend.

In a more recent post on July 28, 2020, Khalid shared a short clip of him still listening to Jimin’s “Serendipity” even while inside his car via Instagram Stories.

To date, there has been no official announcement from both parties as to whether collaboration is on the way. Nonetheless, the fans could not wait when such an epic project will finally come true and have already expressed their support and approval.
