As many of you know, today is a historic day for K-pop, that comes with the debut of Black Swan. At long last the days of Rania are gone as Black Swan waves goodbye to DR's past, and two group members, Leia and Fatou, are the first Brazilian and first full black K-pop singers respectively (Alex Reid was the first black singer overall but was a mix.) So naturally much hype comes with this debut today. However, I must ask you all to please understand this information before listening.

What most people already know,I probably don't have to reiterate is the majority of the tracks on this album were either performed or released previously by Rania, despite being a new group. I admit like most people I was heated about this at first. But I dismissed it. Yes, they were old tracks but maybe they were going to re-record them with Black Swan right? Usher in a new era by giving these old tracks a new definitive lineup behind them? Wrong.

While the remixes have new vocals and the first 3 tracks are new, the other tracks used their original audios with the original lineups. Alexandra Reids raps on these tracks were either reduced or cut, which shows they learned nothing from this experience and they further damaged her legacy in the kpop world even after she's left. It's obvious that DR has been trying to use this as an opportunity to push their old music as a whole, without even making or re-recording a lot of it, and it was obvious they were trying every tool they can, including historical milestones just as these, to scam people.  An establishment like this should not be supported in any way. Especially one like DR that has a history of scamming, shady dealings, and race issues.

I love these girls, I love Black Swan. They were the first group I started to stan and I want nothing but the best for them. But I can't help listening to them while thinking that at the end of the day, this company benefits more than them.
