Billboard recently announced their weeklyHot100 top10 and BTS earned their second #1 (after Dynamite)as they are credited for Savage Love Remix which ischarting at #1 on the Billboard Hot100 this week.

Dynamite also charting at #2 resulting in BTS having #1 and #2songs charting simultaneously on Billboard Hot100, which is a rare feat especially for an Asian act. Following this, Jungkook becomes the youngest Asian to sing for #1 and #2 songs charting simultaneously, also for two #1 songs on Billboard Hot100 (as Dynamite peaked at #1 on the chart for 3 weeks). This is such a huge achievement proving Jungkook's credibility as a world class singer. 

With this remix collab, Jungkook now has 3 entries on Billboard Hot100 - his solo My Time, and 2 collabs Waste It On Me and Savage Love Remix. There were assumptions that his other solo Euphoria, which charted at #5 on bubbling under Hot100 would have made it into Billboard Hot100 too if it had proper release and MV, as according to K-pop columnist Jeff Benjamin. Sad thing to be reminded of, but let's not dwell on that.

Jungkook, Suga and J-Hope participated in Savage Love Remix alongside Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685. The Golden Maknae in particular received tons of hype and praises for his versatile pop vocals (and his elegantly graceful two f*cks) from medias, fans and netizens worldwide. '세비지럽 정국' which means Savage Love Jungkook in Korean was even trending on South Korea Twitter trends following the remix success in charting at #1 on Billboard Hot100.

KMA committee member and music critic Kim Youngdae was beyond impressed with Jungkook's singing pop songs in English that he suggested the 23-year-old global star to sing 'She's Out Of My Life' by the legend Michael Jackson. 

TV news stations worldwide didn't miss to report about Savage Love Remix success and BTS landing Top2 spots on Billboard Hot100, putting spotlight on Jungkook's astounding vocals as well as Suga and J-hope rap parts. CNN on their broadcast 'Early Start' reported "The group (BTS) landing at #1 and at #2 on the Billboard Hot100 with the Savage Love Remix and Dynamite. The K-pop sensation is the first group to achieve this feat since the Black Eyed Peas did it back in 2009".

Korea’s 24 hour news channel YTN reported “BTS has achieved a milestone of charting 2 songs at #1 and #2 simultaneously on US’ Billboard. Savage Love Remix collaborated by BTS ranked at #1 on Billboard Hot 100. The remix features not only member Jungkook’s vocals but also Koreans raps by Suga and J-Hope, which makes the achievement very meaningful".

BTS also becomes the first group to occupy the top two spots on the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart with two sets of songs ie. Dynamite and Savage Love Remix joining ON and My Time (Jungkook's solo song) which charted previously.

Jungkook has evolved into a top class, versatile singer and as K-pop columnist Jeff Benjamin said, "Jungkook has surpassed into a next-level type of superstar".
