On October 6, famous Korean illustrator Lee K. posted on his official Instagram account a birthday gift for his favorite muse, BTS Jimin.
Lee K. joined the celebration for Jimin and painted him using oil on a huge canvass measuring 1200 x 900 mm. Lee K. also used his favorite colors and captioned the post as Congrats #Jimtober (Jimin+October), which is currently being celebrated as Jimin’s birth month.
Lee K. also shared a video of the painting on his InstaStory and showed a closer look at the details of his amazing work.
Just recently, Lee K. participated in a workshop for Benjamin Eck Gallery in Munich, Germany. In September 2020, he exhibited his Jimin portrait in a virtual exhibition and expectedly produced amazing results. Jimin's portraits by Lee K. which were exhibited in Porto and Moscow recently were loved by locals. They cannot help but took photos of the best portait in the exhibit.
Lee K. has made several artworks of Jimin which he posted on his official Instagram account. In earlier news, Lee K. has been asked if BTS Jimin is the guy that he often paints and Lee K. responded in the affirmative and said, “He (Jimin) is definitely my muse, Perfect Shape.”
Jimin has been emerging as a symbol of art in Europe and Korea. Just to name a few, Jimin has been chosen as muse of artists like Alejandro Vigilante from Argentina. British Hector Janse Van Renburg, also known as Shitty Watercolour also made several illustrations featuring Jimin. Likewise, It has been previously reported that Jimin was painted on a wall of a restaurant in the city of Jazan in Saudi Arabia. Artists and art lovers truly appreciate Jimin’s beauty when he appears in exhibitions.
Jimin being an extraordinary artist inspires other artists as well.
