On 29 August 2020, Ms. Sari Setiogi Griberg, World Health Organization’s (WHO) Head of Social Media and Media Monitoring at WHO Headquarters in Geneva, posted on her official Twitter account some praises for BTS Jimin for wearing face mask during dance practice.

Ms. Griberg posted Jimin’s photo from BTS InstaStories, which shows a focused Jimin during their rehearsals for their MTV Video Music Awards live performance on August 31. Jimin wears a face mask which is highly imperative during this Covid-19 pandemic.

Together with Jimin’s photo, Ms. Griberg also posted a cartoon which states “Superheroes save lives. You can do the same. Wear a Mask!”   She further shared an informational campaign poster from WHO on what one can do to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Jimin has been consistently reminding everyone to wear a mask and be safe. Health is the most important.   Jimin is likewise seen in public places wearing face mask not just for his protection but for the others as well.

Jimin, through one of his tweets, encouraged all to wear mask properly, even if it gets uncomfortable. He said the same thing during one of his live broadcasts.
