BTS's "DYNAMITE" Smashes YouTube Premiere Record

BTS' new music video "Dynamite" now holds the record for the highest number of viewers for a YouTube premiere.

The video drew more than 3 million live viewers and hit 4 millions views right after it debuted. YouTube has yet to count the official number, but still, the previous record of 1.66 millions was easily broke.

The bandsaid that releasing their first English language song “Dynamite” wasn’t initially “part of the plan,” but that the hardships of the coronavirus pandemic moved them to put out a new track “as soon as possible” that could energize and excite fans.
