BTS Jimin Breaks His Record on Anghami App with Over 600K Streams for All His Solo Songs, the First Korean Soloist with Such Record
STAR CONTRIBUTOR
BTS Jimin continues to gain popularity in the Middle East region.
Jimin broke his previous record on Anghami, the largest music streaming platform in the Middle East, as his solo song “Filter” surpassed 600,000 streams on August 17th. Jimin became the first and only
Korean soloist to have four songs with over 600,000 streams on Anghami.
Jimin’s Filter is the only solo track on BTS’ fourth full-length album Map the Soul:7 to reach 600,000 streams on Anghami, proving the strong power and huge impact the song has made to the listeners in the Middle East regions.
Additionally, “Filter” impressively ranked the highest among all solo songs in the MOTS:7 album on the Top K-pop chart of Anghami as of August 17th. It consistently outrank not only all the other solo songs in the album but the title track “On” as well.
Finally, Jimin is still the most streamed member of BTS which is very significant because it is very difficult for a Korean solo artist to reach 600,000 streams in the Middle East without a solo debut or promotion.
This is SO impressive!!! Jimin's impact all over the world & on all platforms is insane 🔥 Congrats #JIMIN 💛🎉
