Lovelinus, Lovelyz's official fanclub, has been constantly expressing their discontentment toward Woollim Entertainment for the company's alleged neglect toward the girl group.
Lovelyz marked the first ever girl group to debuted under Woollim Entertainment in 2014. Recently, fans have been demanding that the company provide Lovelyz with a group comeback, since their last comeback was ~14 months ago. The girls participated in one of Mnet's survival shows, 'Queendom', in August of 2019; however, unlike many other competitors of the program, Lovelyz have not held a single comeback since then.
Fans think that the company has been neglecting Lovelyz since their contract is said to be up for renewal next year.
The Lovelyz members have also expressed their desire to come out with a new album. Since they are unable to meet up with fans due to the COVID19 pandemic, members of Lovelyz have constantly conducted 'V Live' broadcasts each week to communicate with their fans. One fan asked, "You will make a comeback, right?". The members replied, "We will make a comeback this year, right? We probably will. We should."
Meanwhile, Lovelyz member Ryu Soo Jung recently made her solo debut with the album 'Tiger Eyes' on May 20. You can listen to the song and watch the MV here.
Good luck guys, I hope they get another comeback before contract talk starts. It's sad to see them being held onto just to be let go...
