Girlgroup Popularity Rankings (Big 4) compared to its 90s Britpop counterpart

Posted by pulp-and-rv-fan0 pt Thursday, May 28, 2020

I've been thinking about this a lot, that Girlgroup popularity rankings is similar to britpop bands in 90s. There's this big 2 and a gap, and after the 4 it's pretty much debatable who comes out in 5. I think the similarities goes on like this :

1. Oasis = Blackpink

2. Blur = Twice

3. Pulp = Red Velvet

4. Suede = Gfriend

What do you think about this order tho? Is it goes like this or the comparisons are false?

  1. BLACKPINK
  2. GFriend (Girlfriend)
  3. Red Velvet
  4. TWICE
