OnMay 22 2020,Agust D, better known as Suga from the worldwide superstar boy band BTS, released his highly anticipated mixtape' D2. Along with the music video for the title track' Daechwita. As fans praised and complemented the mixtape's quality, some fans noticed something concerning.
The D2 track' "What Do You Think?", features a sample of a speech from a infamous cult leader Jim Jones who is known for leading children ages 10-15 to suicide by drinking cyanide. This came as an alarm to army's who criticized Suga for not researching the man behind the speech before adding it as a sample, as well as some army's thinking he supports Jim Jones' teachings.
As of right now, Suga and Big Hit Entertainment have not released a statement on the matter. We will update everyone as soon as a statement comes out.
