After the burning sun scandal of YG entertainment last year, fans have seemed to distance themselves and began to hate on the company. YG received harsh media and a slap in the face from the knetz because of the scandals that came to light. With all the scandals, and IKON's leader, B.I. leaving, it's clear to say 2019 was a rough patch for YG entertainment as a company.
Coming into the new year 2020, it is said to be "the year of YG" and many are waiting to see if the company can rise again. It didn't take much time for YG to rise again in the financial world as IKON came back in february and YG's new boy group TREASURE released a performance video, not to mention WINNER's comeback "Hold", fans are still anticipating BLACKPINK's comeback. YG stocks soared higher than SM's with all of the news and have redeemed themselves financially but fans are still angry at Yang Hyun Suk for not releasing blackpink's comeback earlier.
But it seems that, there are people lurking in the shadows that are still striving to see YG fall, this year, many "former YG employees" began rumors and even made a video that of course caught many eyes. These rumors seemed to be coming up very frequently from the same "former YG employee", they went on further to spreading rumors about YG's main producer, Teddy Park, stating that Teddy does not allow BLACKPINK to have male staff. When this came out, many fans became suspicious about the rumors, saying that "That's not true, blackpink has many male staffs".
Some fans came to the conclusion that these "former YG employees" are just trying to make YG look bad all over again, stating " Give them a break". YG entertainment has been standing firm, even with so many people striving to see them fall. When will YG be seen past the scandals? No one knows, but we can't ignore the fact, that YG creates the quality music, that makes the fans go crazy and his artists are all loved globally. But when will these rumors ever stop.
What do you think? Does these "former YG employees" seem real?
