On February 28th 2020, a week after Map Of the Soul: 7 debuted, the song "Moon" by BTS Jin with a +39 level jump charted at #21 on worldwide iTunes making it the Highest charting B-side after "ON" at +6.
As of March 1st 2020, "Moon" is still the highest charting B-Side at #32 from the album MOS:7 and the only B-Side in top 50 with ON at #13. In addition to its' worldwide success, "Moon" has achieved first rank on iTunes in 8 countries: TRINIDAD and TOBAGO, MOLDOVA, NICARAGUA, PHILIPPINES, SAUDI ARABIA, SRI LANKA, BAHRAIN, PERU, while maintaining first position on iTunes KPOP listing in Ten countries.
Seokjin [Jin], Vocalist, Dancer, Producer and the Official Visual of BTS had previously expressed his desires to write a song for ARMYs stating that, "ARMYs only have eyes for us and we have eyes only for them" So he would like to write a song expressing his gratitude and love for the ARMY. Rolling stone called it "a fantastic guitar nugget that could pass for the Smiths", while Variety called it "a Power Pop heartfelt letter to fans on a soaring track... which speaks directly to their fans (“You are my Earth/ And all I see is you)."
