The Producer of EXO's famous song "Ko Ko Bop" recently revealed on Twitter that the song was originally meant for Red Velvet.
Kaelyn Behr, the producer of the popular song was responding to another Twitter user's tweet asking people to reveal their most random music fact.
Kaelyn stated, "k-pop random fact:@weareoneEXO - Ko Ko Bop was originally written for Red Velvet, the key was 3 notes higher but was then pitched down to suit EXO"
Fans are now imagining what it would have been like if Red Velvet had come out with the song instead of EXO. A previously leaked clip which showed the song in its pre-production stages with female vocals, has also resurfaced online.
I have seen this video before and I think Red Velvet could have nailed it; queens of unusual music and sounds anyway. That said I am glad it went to EXO since this is the one song that made me stop my random Kpop playlist where everyone was blending in together to watch their MV completely and check out more of their stuff. I love Ko Ko Bop with EXO!
