Korean media reports that TWICE has already surpassed 1 million album sales in Korea for 2019 making it their third consecutive year to reach this milestone.
Calling them this generation's "K-Pop representative girl group", K-media states that TWICE officially sold 1,199,185 albums in 2017, 1,484,062 in 2018 and 1,141,236 this year (only in Korea) which includes 340,000 sold copies of their past albums "suggesting a huge influx of new fans"
As of writing, their total album sales (including Japanese album sales) is 7,958,594 and is expected to reach 8 million soon.
Congratulations, TWICE!
This year TWICE comes back in Korea twice only, and they can still make 1M mark. The number of their past albums sold in 2019 beats the album sales of any girl group's 2019 comeback. Their selling power is amazing.
