Mnet's 'Idol School' participant Jessica Lee released a video telling the "untold truth" about the controversial show.
'Idol School' was caught up in a vote-rigging controversy as well as allegations about the harsh conditions the trainees went through, and Jessica Lee has shed more light on the show as a participant on the show herself. She expressed, "The intention of this video is for everyone's sake of 'knowing the current truth' of Mnet's 'Idol School'."

Summary:
1) She is one of those participants who didn't get in through audition (she didn't know there was audition as she was offered to participate)
2) Idol School presented itself as 'reality show' not 'survival show' - after elimination was announced, she and dad asked MNET to eliminate her from the program (but it may not be reason why she was eliminated)
3) Trainees' phones got confiscated and their contact with outside world would cease
4) Harsh diet and had to maintain their body weight (they were weighting every week) - if you get fatter you won't get as much food as before and if you get slimmer, you can go buy some snack as some kind of reward
5) Heartless interview - one wrong word and typical MNET trying to create some drama
6) Trainees were offered contracts (some for 'group B' formed from eliminated trainees, or they could sign as actors..)
To sum up, she is glad she did not make it and decided to quit trying to be idol.
You're welcome~^^
