JYP Entertainment dominates Big 3 agencies as its stock market capitalization rose to the top following the release of TWICE's comeback teasers.
At 9:40 am today, September 11, 2019, JYP Entertainment is trading at 22,100 KRW, up 1,000 won (4.74%) from the previous day. The figures have been consistently on the upswing for three consecutive days.
Despite a slowdown in their previous market value due to issues of Korea-Japan relation and other factors influencing share prices, JYP Entertainment seems to be recovering continuously. According to Mirae Asset Daewoo, foreign investors have growing interest in the company. Park Jung Yeop said "JYPE will hold NDRs in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles for the first week of September."
With TWICE's upcoming comeback and Japan Tour as well as activities of other JYPE artists like Stray Kids and ITZY who had comebacks in the second half of the year and are expected to contribute to profits from year-end and New Year holiday shows, experts believe that the company will maintain a high growth rate in the remaining months of 2019.
Why is Got7 left out of this article? They have been working their butts off touring around the world, yet they arent even mentioned? That is seriously messed up. JYP owes much of their popularity and success to Got7. Please give credit where credit is due.
