OK, so it's finally here... Bring The Soul: The Movie
Since its announcement back in June, supporters of BTS have been anxiously awaiting for its premiere. Well, that day has finally come.
The hope of the film creators is to give BTS fans (aka ARMY) an inside look at what goes on behind the scenes before, during and after the LOVE YOURSELF TOUR. The film takes place at a rooftop in Paris, where RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook all sit around a table enjoying food and drinks all while sharing their personal thoughts on that journey.
As much as I wanted to love the movie, I ended up feeling kind of disappointed. I mean, the footage from the actual concerts were amazing and exciting because these guys are absolute perfection but as far as the other content, I just expected more... More personal thoughts besides the obvious 'We love ARMY, We want to do better' type of thing was expected. I feel as though their YouTube videos are more entertaining.
To make matters worse, a lot (and I mean A LOT) of Namjoon and Jin's dialogue weren't properly translated. It's safe to say that Big Hit has enough money to buy great translators; yet, there weren't subtitles on some of the dialogue, which only made me wonder why they would do that to the non-Korean speaking audience.
This article is not intended to bash the boys because I truly love BTS and everything that they stand for. However, I just wanted a little more one on one personal interviews and proper subtitles. Is that too much to ask? Let me know in the comments.
Verdict:
This should be a forum post, this is why people on AKP get tired of BTS articles. Please don't post stuff like this here.
Also, I saw Bring The Soul yesterday and completely disagree.
