Cho Yong-man, president of Korea Minting, Security Printing and ID Card Operating Corporation (KOMSCO), was interviewed and asked what were the memorable coins or medals from Korea.

CYN: The most memorable commemorative coins are the March 1 Movement and BTS.

The 100th Anniversary of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea. It contains a message to prepare the spirit of independence and a unified Korea. The medal for the 50th anniversary of singer Cho Yong-pil was also impressive.

We are currently working on a BTS commemorative medal. We are at the stage of talking with Big HIt Entertainment. I really want to make it regardless of the sales these globally successful idol stars would bring. I think it would also be a great personal honor for BTS as well.
