Super Junior's Heechul broke down after hearing about the fate of a dog he sent for adoption.
During an Instagram live session on May 9, Heechul expressed, "I remember [a dog] named Nasus in the past. I thought he left to live with a good owner, and I'm not sure how he raised him, but I heard Nasus was really sick. Because of that, I drank some alcohol. I was told Nasus is paralyzed in his lower body. That's why I told the owner to bring him to me, and I offered to get him treated. The owner doesn't seem to have liked that."
He added, "The kid is sick, so it looks like he has to get euthanized. If you took him, you should take responsibility for him," and started choking up. Heechul continued, "That's why I told him to give him back to me, but they said, 'Give us this amount of money for raising him.' That's why I told them to tell me a number, but then they refused saying this and that. It was wrong of me to send him."
In December of last year, Heechul revealed on his YouTube channel he was fostering a puppy he named Nasus.

I feel for Heechul because he thought he was sending the dog to a good home. The problem is though, too many people decide to get animals because they think they're cute, without actually considering if they can take care of them properly. Animals need a lot of attention, appropriate food and exercise, training and proper veterinary care. If you can't provide those things, you have no business owning an animal.
