Posted by yckim124763 pts Thursday, May 16, 2019

A popular idol group member is being investigated for drugs.

On May 16, the Seocho Police Station revealed the idol tested negative in the drug test. However, they plan to send his urine and hair samples to the National Forensic Service for a more accurate examination.

The idol's alleged drug use was reported by Jang, a man in his 30s that lived with the idol. In the morning of the 16th, Jang was arrested for attempting to set their home on fire after getting into an argument with the idol group members. During the police investigation, Jang claimed the idol takes Zolpidem.

Regarding the use of Zolpidem, the idol's agency stated, "The medication was prescribed and properly consumed by the idol to treat anxiety disorder. It is not a drug of an issue."

The police also emphasized the idol members participated in the investigation as victims.
