On April 25, Yoochun's legal representative address media outlets with a statement in response to police reports from yesterday, which revealed that the singer's hair follicles tested positive for methamphetamine.
The legal rep relayed, "The National Forensic Service's test results cannot be contested. However, we do not plan to change the stance that our client did not use illegal drugs."
The rep continued, "There's not much time until prosecutors evaluate [Yoochun's] arrest warrant, but we are currently investigating the different possibilities of how methamphetamine was found in the client's system [when he did not use the drug]."
Prosecution will make a decision regarding Yoochun's arrest warrant after his final suspect statement on April 26. Currently, Yoochun is facing accusations of purchasing approximately 1.5 grams of methamphetamine earlier this year with his ex-fiancée Hwang Hana, and taking the drugs over approximately 5 separate doses.
Next time on oppar is losing it: Seungri's legal side plans to investigate how the prostitutes got payed and hired by him when he did not pay and hire them.
