JYJ's Yoochun ultimately admitted to using drugs.
According to Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency, Yoochun finally admitted to the drug allegations against him during the questioning on April 29.
Yoochun explained why he lied, stating, "I was afraid to let go of myself," and added, "I feel like I need to accept what needs to be accepted and ask for forgiveness on the things that need an apology."
Yoochun also revealed, "I started doing drugs after I started meeting Hwang Hana again."
In early April, Yoochun's ex-fiancee Hwang Hana claimed she used drugs with Yoochun. The star strongly denied drug use and even held a press conference to prove his innocence. He tested negative in the urine test, but positive in the second drug test with his leg hair. Despite the results, Yoochun continued to deny drug use, stating, "I do not know how drug substance got into my body." However, Yoochun ultimately confessed to drug use after 19 days of the denial.
The police plan to forward the case to prosecution.
